Open Question: Which car should I get? Which one is the better choice?

Okay so I have about 4000 to spend and I have found some great cars for that. I found a 2005 cobalt in great condition for 3600 a 2001 jaguar for 3500 but it needs transmission repair a 2006 kia spectra for 3500$ 2006 lancer 4000$ a kia optima for 3900 I don't know which one to get!
